When my teenage children ask “how did Hitler get away with …?” after a history class at school I just get to wave vaguely at the USA now.
With this one simple trick, you can stop doing it vaguely.
For the low low price of $4.95 you too can learn the secret of waving at the US without being vague when referencing Nazis.
Sign up for our free trial of “just exist”, and you’ll unlock the secrets of realizing we’re not coming up on fascism maybe, we’re about halfway through them seizing power.
If you’d like to know more about us, please buy our first publication “Please stop being afraid of guns, you will need them when the gestapo hits your neighborhood. For years Republicans have been accusing the left of trying to take everyone’s guns, and if you can read, you know damn well they are so uncreative that they can’t even imagine accusing us of anything outside of what they plan to do themselves, aka projection. Arm yourselves, act like these people want you and your family dead because I assure you, they might not now, but they can be convinced on the drop of a hat with fox news the sequel! coming to Netflix soon!” for JUST $8.95!!!
If you call within the next 10 minutes, we’ll even throw in a base for your brand new guillotine!

You guys are doing laundry?
Barely
True
Honestly, thank you for this meme LadyButterfly, it’s actually helped my mood. I get way too stressed out with all the crazy shit going on in the world right now with anger, frustration, anxiety, and then depression.
This helps put everything in perspective that there’s little point getting too stressed about the world because what I can do as an individual is limited and I should focus on things more in my control, like doing laundry barely.
Thank you 💜
I get that. It’s crazy, awful, scary times that we’re feeling helpless and overwhelmed about. You’re barely able to do laundry I’m barely able to share memes! I’m glad it helped
Grant and Abe Lincoln once took a few moments out of whipping the South during the US Civil War to play with some lost kittens. I think that’s always a good answer.
This is backwards. There is change because people are pushed to their limits so that they can barely do laundry and don’t have time to resist. Nobody goes protesting in smelly clothes.
It is not ok to barely do laundry because we live in democracies. It’s our responsibility to have time for politics. There is no need to make time right now but there needs to be a discussion about what has to change so that things can be done.
I mean given the way that water and electricity rates are going, I think we’re lucky to be doing laundry, barely
Meanwhile, I am just taking depression naps and hoping that my stress doesn’t become too much to handle.
I love this and hate this equally.
Pisses me off to no end that the libs and even many leftists in America are like “Trump is a fascist and they need to be stopped!!!.. by someone else while I sit and whine on the internet, or mayyyybe go out and hold a quippy sign so I can post it on reddit, if im feeling extra spicy”
And then wonder how the republicans get away with this shit time and time again with no consequences.
Look at somewhere like France. The government tries to raise the retirement age a few years and fucking riots start and the country grinds to a halt. And thats why France has some of the best workers rights in the entire world.
If you want things to change you actually have to do something about it besides complaining on the internet
Absolutely felt called out by this, laundry is my most hated chore, mostly due to apartment living, 4 washing machines and 3 dryers for 5 buildings of apartments to all share.
“What did you do during the great death of 2020?”
“Um… eat, sleep, watch videos online, play games, thinking about writing a journal to document it but then procrastinated and never actually doing it…”
There are a few places where the old folks liked to tell that they lived in three different countries but still lived in the same house. Probably doing laundry, barely.
What were they doing during eventful periods?
Man, look at some news. The vast majority just want to get on with their daily lives. Some are keeping their heads down while neighbors are snatched and disappeared, having rights ignored or abrogated, the ship slowly sinking beneath them while they carry on. If it’s really eventful, they’re starving, watching loved ones die, their homes and whatever financial security they had destroyed, forced to flee their neighborhoods, their lives forever hollowed out and traumatized.
If you’re wondering, you’re not paying attention at all.
