I am heavily using Cloudflare for many of my web services. Now I’m looking for a European alternative. I’m not just talking about a CDN, but also all the security focused features. Any ideas?
There are no full alternatives in whole world for cf, unfortunately, but that’s just because they reward lazyness. We should identify particular issues and stop placing all eggs in competitors basket.

Fully agree. Which is why I do security the classical way for now. The only thing I cannot do myself is protection against DDoS attacks. But I either use the solution of the hoster or use KeyCDN.
It leads to a bit more configuration overhead, but at least I am able to get rid of CF :)

They don’t do everything Cloudflare does, but I’ve used KeyCDN from Switzerland for maybe 7+ years now for many sites and been pleased with it.
