This senile fuck has no idea he’s turned up the water too fast and everyone is noticing the boil. Firing Kimmel didn’t go well, what makes him think this will be any different? Same day as the Qatari air base? Bold move.
They’ll start with MSNBC. People will complain but if they stay the course it will become the new normal. Other news networks will adjust their programming to avoid the same fate. Part of why the Kimmel thing failed was because it was indirect action - the threat was to not grant approval for the Nexstar merger, but the media and publishing backlash made them reinstate Kimmel.
If they start directly revoking licenses then the “kill chain” is basically 1 or 2 links long and the order coming right from Trump’s office.
Personally I think he could get away with it. Americans are still mostly too comfortable for the kind of action it would take to actually stop him.
A general strike. The country would be brought to its knees if suddenly deprived of profit and labor. That tactic was extremely effective in Chile in 2019, and had they not fallen for the trick of liberal reform, they would’ve had a successful revolution on their hands with virtually no bloodshed.
If you aren’t in a union (or even if you are, it’s worth dual-carding), please consider joining the IWW to unionize your workplace (bonus: you’ll get higher wages, better benefits, and more time off if you succeed!) to strengthen a general strike if we manage to enact one.
And for our international friends, you should join one as well, as fascism is gaining momentum globally. If your country isn’t listed below, just contact the IWW directly in the link above.
First of all, recognize that the most cowardly creature on the planet is an American politician - every last one of them. They are feral animals, and the only thing they understand is fear, which is why they use it on us so often. They think we are just as cowardly as they are.
So put the pressure on them, and they will back down every single time, and if they don’t, then pressure them harder, and then you vote them out, and if they don’t leave, you CRUSH them mercilessly.
These people work for US, and that is not rhetoric, it is literally the truth. They need to know that we expect them to do what they are told, because if we are forced to do their jobs for them, it will be very, very bad for them.
A key milestone of the Dark Enlightenment agenda is to scapegoat (per mimetic theory) Trump after he has dismantled democracy and have him replaced by Vance by way of 25th amendment.
Hard to believe anyone buys into that “Dark Enlightenment” bollocks, but apparently some of the most powerful people in the world do. We should probably do something about this now.
If you believe in class consciousness, and you should because the oligarchs do, you must accept that they too will act in their class interests, including believing in flattering and useful lies.

What did people do last time and the time before that and the time before that? This isn’t new we know the outcome of these sorts of things.
