Why take an instance of violence in a far off country where such violence is a daily occurrence as an example to make a statement against violence? Even more so, why take exactly the example where that violence hit a vile person who not only stood against all values of a modern democratic country, but also has been consistently and repeatedly arguing in favour of much worse cases of that particular kind of violence for all his life?
What those politicians did, is a disgrace and an offense to not only democracy, but also to basic human decency and common sense.
