My wife has been fighting a rare cancer for the past four years, and thanks to the “cancer moonshot,” she’s still alive and otherwise well — teaching, loving, helping to raise our family, and paying taxes. Had she been diagnosed just five years earlier (or, it seems, five years later), she probably wouldn’t have lived more than a few months after diagnosis.

Cutting this funding is a devastating blow to so many families, for so many lives. What kind of soulless human could approve of such based cruelty?

Soon, Chemo and immunotherapy will only be availabke to certain people, to the exclusion of everyone else.

I’m young enough to know a cancer diagnosis, no matter what stage, would be the end of me because I won’t belong to the right ‘caste’ of people so to speak.
