      “Mysteriously” why not check the mod log? News@lemmy.world has rules that they have to be actual news sources, not the MeidasTouch post on Meta’s Threads app.

      I posted on that same one, but I looked at the modlog and the mod who removed it asked to use an actual news source or just post that source in a more appropriate community.

      This kind of conspiratorial thinking doesn’t help us.

        In my defense, I didn’t know I was able to check the mod log, nor am I aware of how to do so, so my bad… I just remembered seeing the post and being disgusted, I couldn’t even tell you what sub it was in.

        And yea, maybe I was a little hasty in labeling it ‘mysterious’ but considering we currently have a senile pedophile in the white house who seems determined to be the next Kim Jung Il and is only too happy to rewrite history while siccing his clown shoes gestapo on people indiscriminately, I’d say if there’s a time to be paranoid, this is fucking it.
