The woman thought to have the most direct knowledge of Jeffrey Epstein’s decades-long sex-trafficking operation claims there was no client list, no blackmail scheme and – to her knowledge – no high-profile Epstein associates who committed illicit acts in connection with the notorious sex-offender’s crimes.

That’s according to an account provided by Epstein’s convicted co-conspirator Ghislaine Maxwell to a top official of the U.S. Department of Justice during a highly unusual two-day interview session last month, according to a transcript and audio of the conversation released Friday by the DOJ.

After her interviews with the DoJ, Maxwell was moved to a Club Fed prison where all inmates are eligible for work release during their detention. The fact that she gave no incriminating evidence about Epstein associates, when it is plainly obvious to everyone that she has such evidence, shows that she was not rewarded for cooperating with the investigation, but for obstructing it.

the Dems were doing something, to the point where Mike Johnson ended the session early because of it.

Yeah, and? You’re seriously trying to argue that the culmination of all their effort over five years after this woman was arrested is that a single House session ended a few days early? What the kind of nonsense is that?

They haven’t done anything about it at any point in the last five years, but “this time it’s different” and when do they plan on doing something? “soon”

      Was that not you?

Yep that’s me, and that’s also me telling you that their efforts culminating in what amounts to a few extra vacation days for themselves isn’t “doing something.” What’s so hard to understand about that? Why are you making excuses for a bunch of people protecting pedophiles from justice?

What’s so hard to understand about the fact that they were doing so much that the opposition party had to shut down Congress to stop them?

That the result of their “doing so much” was a few extra days off of work for themselves. Would you call that a victory?

If your sister/cousin/daughter were molested by one of these individuals would that feel like justice served after half a decade of them sitting on this information? I think not.

Who cares what their goals were. We’re talking about what they’ve actually accomplished and thus far that’s only been extra days off.

The fact that this all you can point to before resorting to insults says quite a lot about the quality of your argument.

Right, because after the session was closed it was literally impossible for them to accomplish anything else.

You’re baselessly assuming that they’ll drop it when Congress resumes.

And here is where we circle back to the fact that this is the sum of their accomplishments six years after Epstein’s arrest and five years after Maxwell’s. Make your excuses about how “they would do something, but they can’t do anything now because blah blah blah” but it’s falling on deaf ears.

Why don’t you take a step back and examine what you’re even defending here.
