Blocking public roadways and highways in an act of mass protest could saddle groups expressing their First Amendment rights with misdemeanor charges, heavy fines and possible jail time under a Republican bill discussed Wednesday by a Michigan House panel.

House Bill 4664, sponsored by state Rep. Alicia St. Germaine (R-Harrison Township), was before the House Judiciary Committee, which adopted a substitute altering the bill but took no further action after hearing testimony.

It’s the same reason they flock to defend accused rapists.

They fear they will be accused and people will believe the women. This fear might be irrational or self-aware, but they fear the state unfairly taking away their freedom.

So with guns they fear if you take guns away from loonies, they will be called a looney. If you take them away from domestic violence perpetrators, their wives can now take away their guns and kids with one call to the cops (truth or lie).

Like, I don’t know what people are doing with their lives that they live in constant fear of false accusation but they should make some life changes.
