Trump has been making threats like that since before the election. If Schummer didn’t think he could do his job, he should have stepped down.

It would be far easier for them to just hijack the Democratic party the way the far-right did the Republicans.

They teach the benefits of diversity programs in business administration courses. In a diverse and globalized economy especially, it benefits a company to have a diverse staff.

In other words, the crackdown on DEI programs by the federal administration isn’t just cruel to the folks being affected, it’s also going to negatively affect GDP. By forcing corporations to choose between best business practices and the whims of an authoritarian regime.

Voters aren’t rational, and what Schumer is doing doesn’t instill faith or loyalty in the party. Two things Democrats need to motivate their base.

But, they take a long time to break down plastic. I’ve had a fungus that can digest plastic in a mushroom cultivation bag for nine months and only one specimen has made it through so far.

I imagine splicing the gene that allows for the production of this enzyme into an ocean bound microorganism would clean up a lot of it while not affecting most of our terristrial infrastructure.

Of course, folks put plastic tubing and what not in the ocean too, so I guess we’ll all have to die instead.

I’m not sure if the article covers it, still reading, but one of the things they want to do to disenfranchise transfoks is to require the the name on your birth certificate matches you’re legal name in order to vote.

As most married women don’t change their name on their birth certificate when they take their husbands last name, they would not be able to vote either.
