I don’t know if you already know this, but your phrasing made me think you don’t:

Supergiant Games are known for Bastion… and more recently, for Hades :P So it makes sense that the style reminds you of that, because Transistor precedes Hades.

Edit: according to wikipedia he’s 40-41, so I was right on the money :P

I don’t know about the US, but in Spain if you steal less than 400€ it’s not considered a felony, just a lesser crime, and they let you go with a slap on the wrist. Not saying that cops are going to follow you around until you steal more though lol.

I upvoted this, and then I was like “wait a sec… are they fooling us?” and had to look up if you can’t see the moon landing site from Earth.

Of course you can see the site, but indeed no telescope has enough resolving power to see any items left there. So I guess you didn’t fool us this time.

What some devs don’t understand is the “reward” on soulslikes is actually learning the boss itself. Figuring out the parrying patterns in Sekiro feels very good, it’s not about what happens after beating the boss.

What makes it challenging and not punishing is having telegraphed moves, windows to punish the boss, and clear animation that shows you how to dodge/parry, without bullshit hitboxes.
