Ich musste manchmal an diesen thread denken.

Als ich neulich den Pizzakarton im Bundeswehroutfit in Händen hielt. Als mal wieder dieser lateinische Spruch fiel, der besagt, wir müssen besser im Töten werden um Frieden zu wollen, oder so.

Als Mark Rutte dem Fascho in Amiland in verständlichen Worten zurief, das Unmögliche sei nun geschafft und die Verbündeten (denen er davor schon einen Schrecken eingejagt hatte, als er meinte, sie mögen doch ihre Russischkenntnisse aufpolieren, sollten sie nicht blechen) seien nun bereit aberwitzige Summen auszugeben um das Oberkommando der NATO weiter im Amt zu halten.

Vor gar nicht langer Zeit wurde die Schuldenbremse umgangen, jetzt erst wissen wir in welchem Ausmaß. Von 5% sprach damals noch keiner. Und in welch Windeseile der Verbündete dem hier imponiert werden soll, seinen Staat in einen faschistoidischen Alptraum umbauen würde, war damals auch noch nicht ganz so bekannt (sort of).

Aber man feiert trotzdem: Trump, Rutte, die NATO und es wird glatt so hingestellt als wäre das überhaupt eine Meisterleistung der Europäer, die zwar vor 4 Monaten noch angesichts J.D. Vances Rede in München von europäischer militärischer Souveränität gefaselt haben, sich seither aber keiner noch so blöden Unterwerfungsgeste gegenüber Trump zu schade zu waren (was für eine traurige Truppe eigentlich im Vergleich zu Zelensky). Dementsprechend werden dann natürlich auch die Angriffe auf den Iran nochmal ausdrücklich gelobt.

Und schon sind wir da, wo sich unser Militär einem faschistischem System andient und selbst entscheidet, welche Summen unseres Haushalts dafür abgezweigt werden müssen.

Deshalb: die deutsche post WWII Gesellschaft hat aus gutem Grund dem Militär misstraut. Weil es sie und alle drumherum zweimal in den Abgrund geführt hat (und wenn man genau schaut, mit aufregend ähnlichen Argumenten). Wie genau der Militarismus, der ja immer schon von Traditionen nur so strotzte, sich verselbständigt hat, lässt sich vielfach nachlesen. Das Vermächtnis wurde immer munter angefochten, aber jetzt hat sich irgendeine Tür geöffnet und ich denke wir müssten uns diesen gefährlichen Kräften noch entschiedener entgegenstellen als zuvor. Auch und gerade wegen oben genannter Begebenheiten.

Und das Töten darf gerade jetzt nicht wieder zum traditionsbewussten Handwerk erklärt werden.

Don’t you think it’s very strange how everybody despises the people they want to give incredible military power to. And mostly those are still considered somewhat moderate. But they too goad us into believing war is inevitable.

Then again these moderates never had any kind of problem with their ally parading around with a mostly overt fascist foreign policy for more than half a century. At least now we should at least acknowledge that and accept that the west is in no way a benign empire in any way.
