I understood they let anyone charge only on paper, using higher fees as a barrier for non-teslas. I might be wrong though.

But it’s really all about the charging infrastructure and the seamless technology of the car. No one comes even close."
Norway is big and sparsely populated. Having access to supercharging stations really makes several hours difference on your roadtrip if you exceed the car’s range
They could’ve included in the title the amount of cybertrucks (2). Smells like clickbait
Imagine having the guts to ask your old slave to return and help you with your run-down plantation
This article was right up my alley. I’ve been considering buying a cheapo smartwatch. I suppose this one couldn’t be used as a mp3 player for jogging though.
It’s not a bug, it’s a feature
Glad to hear I’m not alone with these thoughts!
I propose, as a counter movement, automatic engagement; Instead of “liking” or “upvoting”, leave a comment every time you see something you support. And try to abstain from commenting on ragebait or otherwise intentional attention seeking. If enough people start doing this, the algorithm should start adapting to prefering more substantial or positive material, right? I know it sounds naive, but worth a shot!
Yeah, it seems fishy. I find it hard to believe every 5th desktop in Finland runs linux, while only about 10% MacOS.
Interesting to see what kind of a press statement Trump will put out as an excuse for not having a peace deal and for not following through with his threats
There was a hint of a possible motive though: "He was travelling with his brother, Kathiruddin, on horseback on the day he went missing. Police said a family feud had forced the two men to leave their home. " But yeah, seems like a pretty plausible accident.
The problem with regulation is that most of these data giants are US companies, and due to regulatory capture since the 1980s you can’t expect much to change there.
Amazing! I did not expect that outcome from my comment
I’m no expert, but I feel like anywhere they use an algorithm to drive up “engagement” it leads into people being fed rage-bait and then them acting accordingly. This “attention economy” needs to end somehow.
Might only take until mid-term elections next year to have dems in power again. That could change things somewhat.
That function doesn’t seem to function properly btw. I have tried with “meme” and “politics” and communities with those words in them still keep popping into my feed on PieFed.
I wonder about the hygiene
However most goods from Canada will dodge the import tax imposed by the US thanks to an existing trade treaty, the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA).
Perhaps the stronger response is not coming.
Is this a humble brag?
Let the shower wash away your tears…
I didn’t find any estimates of participation count in the demonstration that day. On one hand, I’m glad to see some Israeli resistance, on the other it still feels very muted considering the urgency and need of the Gaza locals.
