Cynic that I am, I expect the book sellers to leave the prices unchanged whilst they pocket the VAT savings.
Without paying excessive costs for a couple of bottles of the stuff I only drink with Bacardi now and then, only if one orders an entire shop, which seems a tad excessive!

My local (and large) supermarket in the UK only stocks Coke, not even an own-brand cola. My local corner shop only stocks Coke. We live in the sticks and there isn’t a lot of choice.

And, of course, every single contractor apart from one has kept completely silent about their work on the project. This is unsurprising as such long-term secrecy and efficiency is the hallmark of democratic* governments.
