You seem to know a lot. So why not make those changes yourself? If you want bigger flashier warnings then do it. There is nothing stopping you. Depending on your skill you could have had it done in less time than you spent on this meme and thread.
I’m not trying to be argumentative but you sound like you want the linux community to build what you want and disregard their own wants. In addition, you want the community to be extra super nice to you when they do it. The sense of entitlement is astounding.
A good one would also be the whole debate about warning measures in apt so it doesn’t just happily remove essential system components like xorg.

There’s a good reason fatal warnings are almost always red or yellow and there are literally pictograms of human skulls in warning signs.
I mean this is the most respectful way possible… You are looking for a walled garden that protects its users. Linux is not that, never has been, and probably never will be. There are other options like Windows and MacOS that fill that role.
There are some extremely toxic members of the community but your complaint comes from the way Linux runs. If you/they don’t like how it runs then why are you forcing it?
3·2 days agoA few months before I completely left Facebook all I saw on my feed were ads. Absolutely no content from friends. The only way to see that they had updated anything was to go to their page. I would follow them and still no updates on my feed at all.
Facebook is not a social network, now it is only an ad network and the ads were rarely relevant. It’s not even good a being shitty.

I wish more people thought this way. When I go with this mindset I’m never upset when I lose. I tell my friends it’s like an adult arcade, you pay to play the game not to win the prizes.

It’s mathematically sound because you do guarantee a net positive with enough of a bankroll. As I have mentioned in other comments here this is not a strategy that can be used in the real world.
You even admit it would work with absurd amounts of money… The math works.
It’s actually the strategy with the best return of any strategy, including card counting. In any blackjack strategy you need a large bankroll to take advantage of the law of large numbers.
Seriously, this works so well and is the reason for table limits.
Because you will never find a no limit blackjack table you cannot actually apply this strategy in the real world. But it is mathematically sound.
Try not to die for your country or beliefs. Make the other guy die for theirs.
You misunderstood. A person doubles the bet on the next hand after a losing hand. This is different than doubling down on a 9, 10, or 11 during play.
Not on topic but that is actually a valid strategy for blackjack. It is the reason that table limits exist. Otherwise doubling down every loss will eventually net you a positive.

Here is the legitimate Thailand visa website. I have used it multiple times.
It’s in the name “Elite Visa” or “Privilege card.” It is the most expensive visa category in Thailand. It allows stay up to 20 years and includes things like medical treatment and preferred treatment by immigration whether at the border or in country.
I think it is a ridiculous visa considering the “DTV Visa” exists. For the DTV you only need to show a bank balance of at least $15,000 and sign up for Thai cooking, Muay Thai, or medical treatment. The visa does not cost $15,000, you only need to show the balance. I suspect they want to know you can support yourself while here. It is valid for 5 years. It is one of the easiest long term visa’s in the world.
I bet adversaries have begun courting those that were fired. I would even bet on some of them are taking the offers. Brain drain.
Couldn’t they reverse the ruling on his immunity? They reversed Roe v Wade with the flimsiest of justification. They could do the same here. I realize I’m being hopeful.
