    First of all I don’t think there’s many full time jingle writers - let’s call them commercial composers, usually also producers at the same time. Meaning they get paid to create music for whatever occasion.

    And for those, I’m fairly certain that they analyze music all the time, even while listening to the radio. They know the building blocks (they’re simple), and at some point realize what a catchy melody sounds like and how easy it is to produce one.

    So, yes to your first question, though I don’t think it’s annoying to them.
