Monica Lowenski. She was an intern that was the victim of workplace sexual misconduct with possibly the biggest power imbalance possible. Yet she was dragged for being a whore.

Seems to me like she made a ‘business decision’. I don’t understand the pity, unless you think she was forced, or God just snapped away her free will before and during every encounter.

Don’t argue me about your reading mistake.

I’m merely pointing out those are different things and the earlier poster talked of sexual misconduct, not sexual assault.

Do you believe they’re the same thing?

Obviously not a full pardon but I feel like Tiger Woods got a bad deal. So much negative press because he cheated on his wife. That used to be a big deal, but bastards have evolved. Since then we’ve had Jimmy Saville and Bill Cosby. Epstein island. There’s a pedo in charge of America. The bar is much higher (lower?), and it only took a few years. He got unlucky with his timing. These days it wouldn’t even be noteworthy. “Consensual sex? With an adult? Booooring”

Stella Liebeck, the woman who sued McDonald’s for serving coffee so hot, she suffered third-degree burns on her groin and thighs, was hospitalized for 8 days, and “suffered permanent disfigurement after the incident and was partially disabled for two years.”

But everyone knows her as the “idiot who didn’t know coffee is hot.”

Rec the documentary about this - Hot Coffee - as well as documentaries Bleeding Edge and Diagnosis. We are massively massively stolen from by corporations, who not only make bad products, but then lobby to deny us healthcare for all so when their products injure us, it is harder to get treatment and thus class action sue over the damages.

The indigenous peoples of the world. Everywhere they have faced genocide and ruin from the other people of the world, from time immemorial.
