    I like Bandcamp, as I get to listen to whole tracks (a few times each), get to download and own them at $1 to $2 each.

    I don’t spend much more than a Spotify subscription and now own so many wonderful tracks I can listen to anytime.

    And most of what I spend goes directly to the artist.

      Do you actually recieve DRM free files or are they still tied to Bandcamp? I understand we still don’t own the song with physical media but a policy change or new license deal at Colombia isn’t going to make the disc disappear.

        Normal .flac files. Playable and copyable on any computer with no need of specialized hardware or software. Actually easier to secure than CDs or DVDs.

      +1, I use bandcamp too! Works very well and you can download or even buy a media of your preference. A win win situation for the artist and the listeners/fans.
