BERLIN (AP) — Germany’s parliament on Thursday lifted the immunity of a prominent far-right lawmaker with the Alternative for Germany party, after which authorities searched his home and offices following a court order.

      One would hope so. But if there’s one thing far-right politicians do really well, it’s surviving political scandals.

      He left / was kicked out of the EU parliament because of corruption, spying, etc. and was elected to the German parliament after that so I am not too hopeful.

      when even his party colleagues are careful about defending him, i’m pretty confident he will be out for the time being.
      usually they jump at any opportunity to play the victim, but here they dance around the topic pretty obviously
