I have to eat, man. It’s literally double the price for food everywhere else. I’m not exaggerating, on average anything you find at any other grocery store will be twice the price as the equivalent at Aldi. I’m not in a food desert and I’m not shopping at high end stores, grocery stores just started putting the squeeze on during COVID and haven’t stopped.
They’re also the only store I’ve ever seen that will let cashiers sit instead of forcing them to stand for 8 hours. By American standards those are good jobs.
