Just out of curiosity, where do you get your food ensuring the employees are not mistreated?
I did not say don’t shop there if you can’t afford anything else. What I’m saying is don’t think of them as the good guys. I absolutely get that some (many) people are in that situation.
I get my groceries at a local German chain that I at least haven’t heard anything egregious about in terms of employee treatment.

Also, I can imagine Aldi’s practices being about on par with what US Americans are used to, sadly.
