European Enlargement Commissioner Marta Kos announced in a social media post on Thursday that the European Union delegation building in Kiev was struck during Russia’s latest attacks on “civilian areas.”
Kos and European Council President Antonio Costa both condemned Moscow’s strikes, describing them as “brutal” and “deadly.” The two also expressed solidarity with the EU staff and the Ukrainian people.
“The EU will not be intimidated. Russia’s aggression only strengthens our resolve to stand with Ukraine and its people,” Costa said in a post on X.
Technically, recent escalations and especially the more recent ones like on the EU reps building and the one on the US factory in U.A, just after the Alaskan negotiations, should be enough political ammo to step our involvement more, if the will is there.
That “if” is doing so much work there
