    No, really. We in Missouri are having our third AG in a row not finish his term because he’s climbing the ladder, when Jogs Hawley promised he wouldn’t use the position to chase a job… And then voted Eric Schmitt to AG to… do the same shit. Now since our current one can’t be a senator after suing everyone for wokeism, he’s gonna go co-run the FBI.

    Also Missouri has a nice part where petitions can get to bills that the public votes on to pass as laws. We’ve passed things like stopping puppy mills, keeping abortion legal, expanding medicaid, guaranteed sick time, and stopping of gerrymandering. Every one of these the Republicans have overturned despite the state voting overwhelmingly for these things.

    Why?

    Because the fucking mouthbreathing hicks in the country can’t get past the idea of voting for anyone with an R next to their name no matter if the candidate informed them not only would they ignore what they want for anything else, they’d shit in their mouth.
