The big point of this one is that it is not hormonal, and so far this study shows no side effects. So for a couple, it could be the pill with least side effects overall.
Sure, but is the additional security worth the sides? I could wear a medieval suit of armor around all day to be safer, but it would be extremely inconvenient.
That’s the nice thing about having more contraceptive options on the market, you are more likely to find an option with minimal side effects for you and/or your partner.

of course nothing is 100% effective, not even condoms. consider each an additional layer of security.
