Taxi: just use public transit, or Bolt

Software: Linux

Phone: Fairphone (Google Pixel is claimed to be safer for privacy, but I still don’t trust Google)

Maps: OsmAnd or OpenStreetMaps

Browser: Firefox, Librefox (or the usual onion, if censorship is that bad)

Search: Ecosia, Qwant, SearXNG (if you know how to self-host)

AI Chat: Kobold.cpp or Ollama (latter downloads models automatically, but former is better elsewhere)

Messaging: Signal, Threema, Wire
