Is there any way to avoid them yoinking all my data? Just me and my friends loved playing it but with the new EULA ive been reluctant to reinstall. I run Linux and my friends hppefully will be soon too.

Doesnt even apply to other games either, just about every game ive attempted to run on steam has worked brilliantly, only issues being games with certain anticheats. Whereas other launchers like epic take 5 years to load and I couldn’t get the games to even run. Gog doesnt have Linux support, however has worked somewhat well for me in the past once lutris got it working.

Dawn of war works great for me, ive also managed to play space marine one and two, (granted one is a bit of a pain in the ass to get working) ive also gotten Gothic armada 2 and gladius to run. As far as I remember the only one that didn’t work out of the box was space marine 1 and that’s because of some stupid DRM that’s been put on it. I’m on Pop!OS for reference.
