CBDC (Central Bank Digital Currency)
This is the system they want to implement in the near future, it has already been tested in poor countries and also on migrants, in essence it is like this - your opinions, for example – your genetic code, political views, your interests, even your purchases will be tied to your identity and the system will know everything about you, and your bank account can be blocked whenever they want or for low loyalty.
Also, you won’t be able to buy something you want, like a weapon or too much food, and the AI will immediately ask – “why, please explain your actions!” Or it will immediately block your bank account.
Well, they also want to ban cash so that you have no chance of resistance, or rather no chance of freedom.
While there’s some far-end “let’s eliminate cash” sentiments, a lot of the selling point of a CBDC is simply faster, cheaper settlement than current private platforms, so there’s a nonmalovent position.
Many central banks are pushing for the CBDC as a commercial or interbank-only thing in large part because if end consumers could just have an CBDC demand account with the Federal Reserve/Bank of England/ECB, it would squeeze out commercial banks.
Ah the dear dream of the social credit system.
They really want to introduce this, their hands are itching, and not only their hands.
