For an administration that is set to run out of money and have to cut benefits by 2033, it’s REALLY impressive they found money to push PARTISAN SPAM. I am ABSOLUTELY fucking disgusted right now. I’ve reached out to my representatives about this. As normal I expect they won’t message anything back.

They are hoping seniors won’t notice. The “One Big Beautiful Bill” gives a temporary tax deduction for seniors over 65 until 2028, but this is mostly twisted words. It won’t wipe out taxes on Social Security for everyone. If you’re under 65 or making too much, good luck getting any relief at all.
To clarify, you’re stating that the information from the Social Security Administration is false. Oh I know that. Thank you for the link though. The SSA has NO BUSINESS sending these kinds of emails is my point. I absolutely am against the shit Trump is doing. But this email is an abuse of my email and abuse of the tax payer money I put into a system running out of money.
The Social Security Administration is just going along with what their boss (lord and savior) Trump is telling them to do. No one will stand up to him. No one will defy him. It truly is all over.
I received this as well. Meanwhile, I have been waiting to hear back on an appeal to a denial for more than half a year now. I first applied over two years ago, but they “lost” my application twice before getting around to denying it (SSDI).
Sure would be nice if they put this time into real work.
