National security adviser Mike Waltz said on Sunday that all options are “on the table” to prevent Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon.

In an interview on ABC News’s “This Week,” anchor Martha Raddatz asked the president’s top adviser to elaborate on President Trump’s warning to Iran a week ago that they would not be allowed to have a nuclear weapon and that something would happen very soon “that will solve the problem if there is no peace deal,” Raddatz said, referring to nuclear weapons.

Umm how about the US should have not have withdrawn from the agreement?

And if anything Ukraine has shown that you should not give up your nukes. No one will be there to help you.

In my opinion, any military action against Iran would only backfire.

The Iranians can temporarily distrupt traffic at the Strait of Hormuz which would cause oil prices to rise.

Saudi Arabia historically, had half of their oil supply severed temporarily due to an Iranian drone strike.

lt would take the U.S. months to deploy enough air power into the region to sustain an air campaign against Iran.

Nevermind that Iran has developed special assets capable of hitting Americans in a distance of 2,500 KM. Each and every American base in the region would be threatened with a strike.

A ground campaign would place American troops into disadvantageous terrain and would lead to massive losses, likely requiring a draft.

Iran’s coastline is made up of bays, inlets, coves, and islands, all of which can hide really nasty things.

TLDR: If war comes, expect oil prices to sky rocket to the moon and tens of thousands of American coffins while Trump laughs straight to the bank.
